Swim Shirts

Along the same line as the compression body suits, I just planned a trip to Orlando come the first week of November. If my current speed of weight loss keeps up, I'll be down to about 230 at that point. 100 lbs lighter since my extended family -- who will be there -- last saw me. A big part of the vacation plan is to spend time at the Disney water parks. If this trip was a few months ago, I would've begged out of the activities, but now I'm thinking I'm going to be splashing around with the kids.

However, I don't think that my loose, white, baggy belly is going to be ready for primetime. I'm wondering if they make a form fitting swim shirt that I can wear for the water sports. Anyone know of something like this? Compress the moobies in, hide the panny, etc.

I would be very careful. The last time I was on the beach I was attacked by a group of strangely clad whalers who shouted

AHAB Look He's as white as can be as they hurled harpoons

I know they used to make a t garmet that would hold the tummy in. It would be perfect for this. it was made out of Lycra. I think Dr Leonards or one of those sites has it

Just Google "swim shirts".  They also sell them in most surf shops.  They are highly recommended by most dermatologists since they protect you from the sun's harmful UV rays.  They're especially recommended for children.  I have a long-sleeved deep blue one and it hardly feels like I'm wearing anything when it's on.  For those of you who swim in pools, you can wear them to feel a bit warmer.  You feel a little warmer in water but not out in the air.  By the way, you can either wring it out or just let the water drip off it.  However, you should rinse it out in fresh water when you get back to your room and let it dry out again.

I bought some from a guy on eBay called "the Cryp" .  Price was right too.  At 230, I would buy the 4x.  Sounds big, but they are sized small.  I weighed in at 236 on my August vacation and I used the 4X and it was a little tight.

Check him out on eBay.  I believe you should search under rash guard to get the results.

I'm new to the group but I know what you're talking about.  Don't have a date for WLS yet,  but I thought I may as well chime in where I can help.

The links below should help.

What you're looking for are called rashguards.  I bought a few of these when I was in Hawaii.  They work great.  They should fit snug.  They also provided a certain level of UV protection against the sun,,and should serve the purpose.

Have fun and get splashin'!

Try that site. I bought one awhile back and love it! Its UV protectant and, if I may say so my self, quite slimming on me! I wear it in the pool for water aerobics to keep my moobs from slapping me in the face too!
